hello boys and girls today were going to be learning about how characters change throughout a story the big idea in this lesson is that characters change in a story when you read from the beginning to the end the first type of change is a physical change this is an external change for a change that happens on the outside of a character a character a character might change how they look they might grow taller or cut their hair for example another type of change that a character can go through is to change their traits or their attitudes a character may change how he or she feels or thinks or acts about someone or something a character may even change how they act in general these are internal changes we dont see them on the outside but we can see them if we pay attention to how the characters think or act or the words that they say in the text so here you have pictured a character maybe at the beginning they were very timid or shy but by the end of the story they became very confident
