in formatting leing or line spacing is the space between the different adjacent lines of text the term leing actually comes from when they used to hand type set they used to use thin strips of lead to separate the lines of text to change the line spacing in Word navigate to Our Home tab at the top toolbar and then go to paragraph and you can see here that thereamp;#39;s a line spacing button click on this and you have various different options that you can choose from if you click on the line spacing options this then brings up your paragraph menu you can then go to the indents and spacing section and under spacing it says line spacing you have a drop down menu here that gives you lots of different options that you can choose from you can also see here in the preview window how that will look in the at box you can also add in specific measurements as to what you want your line spacing to be you can access the paragraph menu also by going to the Home tab and then where it says paragrap

To use different page numbers or formats in different sections, create Page breaks and set page number for each. The following shows an intro with lower case Roman numerals. You can use any other format instead. Select between the intro and the body of the document and go to Layout Breaks Next Page.
Number your headings Open your document that uses built-in heading styles, and select the first Heading 1. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, choose Multilevel List. Under List Library, choose the numbering style you would like to use in your document.
