Hi Iamp;#39;m Jackson Bird and I want to share how I legally changed my name and gender marker, just in case yamp;#39;know its like helpful for you to know as well. [upbeat music] By the way, welcome to winter videos. Got warm sweaters and no more natural light for filming until like April. Thanks, New York. So I came out as a guy in 2015 and told everyone my new first name then. That was the name I was using socially and publicly, and still am, but I didnt end up changing my name legally for another year and a half because I had to decide on my middle name first. And if youre curious how I picked any of my names, you can go watch the videos that I made on that right there. Part of what pushed me to finally change it, apart from how annoying it was to have my name on my ID mismatch the one security guards or hotel lobbies had been given by people I was meeting with, or have a bouncer see a gender on my ID other than the one that I looked like, or having to tell people that I was l

The . cer files are commonly used to share public key information, as in scenarios of certificate distribution or SSL/TLS implementations, where secure communication requires providing the servers public key.
p12 file is for the client, while the . cer file is for the server in order for it to be able to verify the certificate(s) sent by the client.
Binary. The certificate file contains only the certificate information and does not contain the private key. *.CRT. Binary or text. The certificate file contains only the certificate information and does not contain the private key.
The key difference between the two lies in their encoding methods. While . CER certificates are encoded in binary format, . PEM certificates are encoded in Base64, making them more versatile for different types of data and applications.
. p12 is an alternate extension for what is generally referred to as a PFX file, its the combined format that holds the private key and certificate and is the format most modern signing utilities use.
Here are the main differences between CER and CRT certificate files: Encoding: CER files use binary DER encoding while CRT files use Base64 text encoding. File Format: CER files are binary while CRT files are ASCII text. File Extension: CER and CRT file extensions are used to distinguish the encoding.
P7B/PKCS#7 Format p7c as the file extension. The thing that separates PKCS#7 formatted certificates is that only certificates can be stored in this format, not private keys. In other words, a P7B file will only consist of certificates and chain certificates.
It is assumed that in order for me to convert the certificate from (cer) to (p12), there must be an arrow next to the certificate so that the key appears so that it can be pressed. Right-click, then we choose Export, and then we choose (p12).
