To change text direction in a table: Select the cell containing the text you want to change direction. To change the text direction, select Table Tools Layout Text Direction. The text will rotate to the right. To change the text alignment, choose an Alignment option to change how the text appears in the cell.
On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. On the Captions dialog box, click AutoCaption, and then select the check boxes for the items that you want Word to automatically add captions to. You can also choose which position to add captions to in the Position drop-down list.
If you have the full version of Word/Office running under Windows, go to References tab Captions group Insert Caption.
Once captions are created, they can easily be cross-referenced. To add cross-references, from the References menu select Cross-reference . This opens the dialog for inserting a cross-reference. Select the type of reference you want to use, which will limit the list of captions of that type.
Select the object (table, equation, figure, or another object) that you want to add a caption to. On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. In the Label list, select the label that best describes the object, such as a figure or equation.
Rotate to an exact angles Select the text box you want to rotate. and choose the Shape Format tab. Select. Rotate in the Arrange group. If you dont see the Shape Format tab, make sure that you selected a text box. Select one of the following: Rotate Right 90 to rotate the object 90 degrees to the right.
Specify text direction in a shape or text box Right-click the edge of the shape or text box. On the shortcut menu, select Format Shape. In the Format Shape pane, click Size/Layout Properties . Under Text Box, select the option that you want in the Text direction list.
Select the text box and choose the Shape Format tab. Text Effects. Select 3D Rotation and choose 3D Rotation Options.
