Now in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote you can select text and change things about it. Change the Font. Change the size, change the style. But there are some advanced options hidden behind a single button in those three apps. So here I am in Pages. Now if I select some text, say here in the body of a word processing document, or if I create a text box and select some text in there I can go to the Format sidebar and then under Style I can change things about the text. For instance I can change the font thats being used. I can change the size and I could change things like the exact style thats used. I have quick access to certain things like Bold

Turn ligatures on or off for selected text in the Font section. If you dont see text controls, tap Text or Cell. Tap a Ligatures option: Default: Uses the default ligature settings for the font youre using, which may not be all of the ligatures available for the font.
Ligatures are decorative or joined characters that are available for certain characters in some fonts.
Apply a character style In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. If the text is in a text box, table or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Style button. In the Font section, click the pop-up menu next to Character Styles, then choose a style.
Replace found text Click. in the toolbar, then choose Show Find Replace. Click. Enter a word or phrase in the first field. Enter the replacement word or phrase in the second field. Use the buttons at the bottom of the Find Replace window to review and change the text matches:
Select the text and tap the Format icon at the top. Below Font, tap the three dots which are to the right of the font format options. Scroll down to Ligatures and make your selection.
To change the spacing between selected paragraphs, use the spacing options on the Page Layout tab: Select the paragraphs you want to change. Click the Page Layout tab, and under Spacing, in the Before and After boxes, click the up or down arrows to adjust the distance before or after each paragraph:
To change the default indent space, click over to the Layout tab of Format Inspector. Near the bottom the options for First, Left, and Right will be displayed. Either click into the box or use the up and down arrows to increase and decrease the spacing.
Replace all occurrences of the text: In the Substitutions window, click Replace All. If you have other substitutions in Keyboard settings, they are also applied to your document. Apply replacements to specific text: Select the text you want to modify, then in the Substitutions window click Replace in Selection.
