this is an employee attendance sheet which I have created in Excel before creating the new format letamp;#39;s see how it works this attendance sheet will be with checkboxes over here we have got checkboxes when someone is present we have to click on the checkbox and we can see the tick mark and it got highlighted automatically in green if someone is not present just leave it black bank so Iamp;#39;ll take few checkboxes when we come to right hand side over here we can see four present and 27 absent if the check boxes will not be marked it will be showing as absent after that we have got our leaves we offs and holidays week offs and holidays will be counted automatically there will be no entry for week offs and holidays Iamp;#39;ll come to left hand side in case someone will be taking any type of leave we have to click on the cell we have go to formula bar we have to delete false and we have to type name of that leave Iamp;#39;ll type SL for sick leave and the entry of Sly

Click inside the cell of the spreadsheet where you want to insert the object. In the Object dialog box, click the Create from File tab. Click Browse, and select the file you want to insert. If you want to insert an icon into the spreadsheet instead of show the contents of the file, select the Display as icon check box.
Open up the Excel spreadsheet that you want to place the link into and select Insert Object. 2. Add your PDF. Click Create Browse to locate the PDF you want to insert.
On the formula bar, click the arrow next to the Name Box, and then click the name of the external data range from which you want to remove the data connection. The data range is then selected. On the Tools tab, in the External Table Data group, click Unlink.
On the Data tab, in the Connections group, click Edit Links. Note: The Edit Links command is unavailable if your file does not contain linked information.
How to remove links in Excel Navigate to the Data tab in the top banner. Find the Queries Connections group. Click Edit Links. Find the link you want to remove from the Source list. To select multiple links, hold the Crtl button on your keyboard and click each link you want to remove. Choose Break Link.
In the Edit Links dialog box, in the Source list, click the link that you want to break. You can select individual workbooks with Ctrl+click, or all of them with Ctrl+A. Click Break Link. If the link used a defined name, you may also want to delete the name.
Check for Conditional Formatting Links Go to the Conditional Formatting Rules Manager. Select This Worksheet from the drop down. Check each Rule to ensure they are referencing data in an external file. Amend or Delete the Rule to remove the Link. Repeat steps above for the remaining worksheets in the file.
Solution Open the Excel spreadsheet. Click File. Click Info. Click Edit Links to Files. In the Edit Links pop-up, if relevant select the link and click Break Link and confirm. Save the spreadsheet.
