It is used to express that the answer or answers to a given question are not the same; each person, situation, or thing may have a different answer. For example: What type of food do you like to eat? The answers vary from person to person.
Myth 2: C is the best guess letter and is right more often than any other letter. C or H are right (and wrong) as often as any other answer choice. The only guess letter you dont want to use when you are completely guessing is E or K because they only show up on the math test.
Answering Exam Questions Read through the entire exam to plan an overall strategy. Look at each exam question to identify key words. Think about what kind of writing the key word or words call for. Make notes to yourself of the points you want to cover in the response. Begin your response by echoing the question.
In some cases, the best choice is between two very different or opposite choices. When one option encompasses the other options or is more inclusive, choose it. If an absolute such as always, never, every, all, none, etc. is present, consider the option false.
Im sure youve heard this at some point if you dont know the answer, always guess C. because its the most common correct option. Thats just a myth, and generally there are no most common answers on multiple choice tests.
The truth is that it doesnt matter which letter you pick, only that you stick to the one you choose. The best strategy, and the one that will maximize your overall point gain, is to pick your favorite letter and fill it in for every blind guess.
They usually ask you to write one or more paragraphs, although you might be allowed to use dot points and diagrams. Doing well in short answer exams relies on your ability to: Answer the question directly (rather than write about the topic) Write clearly, precisely and succinctly.
