Teenager Taylor Smith, who pushed her friend Jordan Holgersson off a 60-foot bridge, was sentenced to two days in jail despite a plea deal that aimed to keep her out of prison. Smith, 19, who pled guilty to reckless endangerment, was taken away in handcuffs after the judge rejected the prosecutors' suggestion of no jail time. The incident, which occurred last August in Washington State, resulted in Jordan suffering serious injuries, including six broken ribs and punctured lungs. At her sentencing, Taylor expressed remorse. Jordan has since stated that she is ready to move on from the incident. Smith was also ordered to spend additional time on probation.
