If you are a Canvas admin, go to the course and then click settings. Under Course Details, you will see an area that says File Storage. This is where you can increase the amount of storage in a course.
In your personal file storage area, you can delete any large files that you no longer need in order to free up file storage space. You can check the percentage of file storage space that you have used at any time by referencing the bar in the bottom left corner of your personal Canvas file storage area.
There is a 2 gigabyte (GB) limit on individual files uploaded to Canvas. Your file storage quota consists of all files uploaded into the Files area of your course and all assignment submissions. Each Canvas course has a file storage capacity of 1000 megabytes (MB) or 1 gigabyte (GB).
Locate the course evaluations block. Click on the Login to SmartEvals link. Please note: if you do not see the ink, you can also go directly to . I would recommend logging into Moodle first either way.
If you are a Canvas admin, go to the course and then click settings. Under Course Details, you will see an area that says File Storage. This is where you can increase the amount of storage in a course.
Exceeding the user storage quota prevents users from uploading files to Discussions and User Files. To make room for more file uploads, delete files in either, or both, of these folders of your User Files until total file size is under 200 MB. My Files Personal files you may have uploaded to Canvas.
Canvas Studio allows for the uploading of large multimedia files (video lectures, screenshares, clips) and does not have a storage limit.
If you have more than 50 files, try zipping the files and uploading the ZIP file into your course. If you are using Usage Rights, you must set the file usage rights before the files can be published. Canvas does not support file uploads larger than 5 GB.
