There is no limit to the number of sensitivity labels that you can create and publish, with one exception: If the label applies encryption that specifies the users and permissions, there is a maximum of 500 labels supported with this configuration.

The global admin for your organization has full permissions to create and manage all aspects of sensitivity labels.
Download AzInfoProtectionUL.exe from the Microsoft Download Center. Run the executable file that was downloaded, and if you are prompted to continue, click Yes. On the the Azure Information Protection client page, click I agree when you have read the license terms and conditions.
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint On your Android tablet, select the Home tab (if it isnt already selected), then select Sensitivity. On your Android phone, select the Edit. Choose the sensitivity label that applies to your file.
Sensitivity labels can be used in environments that are licensed with the Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3 or E5 SKUs, or Microsoft 365 Business Premium SKU. The features available differ depending on which license you are using and even if you are licensed for some features, you might not use them all.
After you create and configure the sensitivity label, add this label to a label policy that applies to just a few test users. Wait for the change to replicate: New label: Wait for at least one hour. Existing label: Wait for at least 24 hours.
How to configure an Azure Information Protection Label Policy Locate label policies. Select label to publish. Select users or groups to publish. Configure label settings. Apply a default label to documents. Apply a default label to emails. Name your policy. Review settings and submit.
You can apply sensitivity labels when you create or edit a team in the Microsoft Teams admin center. Sensitivity labels are also visible in team properties and in the Classification column on the Manage teams page of the Microsoft Teams admin center.
If you have an Office 365 E3 or Microsoft 365 E3 license, you can use DLP to protect Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive. However, for DLP in Teams chats, you still need E5 licenses.
