so while this rarely happens it did happen so I figured Id do a video about it occasionally I call these stubborn access points and the reason I call it stubborn is its adopted its working its all working fine with a unified system except we have a firmware version problem three point seven and were on three point nine is the current firmware now this was an older one that were adding to this and that might be part of the problem as well its just look a few ver it says several versions behind maybe thats what causes so I dont necessarily know the cause but dont worry theres an easy solution now if youre not familiar with unify and how every one of their devices work there is a basic Linux kernel in each one of them it also has a shell loaded on each one of them Im going to show you how to access a shell and manually upgrade the firmware its actually pretty pain free and easy and doesnt take too much command-line stuff but its nice that they give you access to all this
