Why dont we jump into it, and Ill show you first off how to get Forms. Here I am on my PC. And what were going to do to get Microsoft Forms is were going to go to the website office.com. Office.com is how we are going to get to Forms. So once you navigate to that website, youre going to see a website load and you have two primary actions. You can either get Office or you could sign in. If you have an account or even if you dont have an account, what were going to do is were going to click on Sign in. A survey cannot be modified while it has Published status.
Let people edit their responses In Forms, open a form or quiz. Click Settings. Responses. Turn on Allow response editing. After people submit their answers, a confirmation page appears. They can click a link to reopen the form and change their answers.
You have to publish the survey for respondents to access it. Click the Publish button in the upper right corner of the survey editor. Click Publish again in the next pop-up window. Once the survey is activated, youll be given an anonymous link to share with potential respondents.
To select a survey to edit, click on the Survey Name on the My Surveys page, click on the Edit icon in the tasks column next to the Survey Name, or click on the Edit Survey tab.
I did some research on recoding but Qualtrics gives a warning at the beginning of the article that says Recode values stop updating to reflect the new answer choice order once you start collecting responses (or if you copy a survey that has collected responses).
Once the survey is active and published, its editing is still possible, but you must be very careful in doing so. If you want to correct a typo or change the text in a question or a possible response, you can do so without consequences. The data remains unchanged.
You can edit these in the Messages section of your Library! You can edit messages in the Library found on the top right. Once there, go to the messages area and edit your messages from here.
