Now, were going to first create a letterhead. That just means we have our business name, address, email, and maybe some sort of graphic up at the top. And we want to save it as a template, so we always have it any time were typing a letter that were going to print out. So Im going to type business 216 team, thats our business name. At the bottom of the Controls task pane, click Add or Remove Custom Controls. In the Add or Remove Custom Controls dialog box, select the template part that you want to remove, and then click Remove. When prompted to remove the template part, click Yes, and then click OK.
Edit templates Click File Open. Double-click This PC. (In Word 2013, double-click Computer). Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder thats under My Documents. Click your template, and click Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.
Check for Page Breaks Click on View and then click on Show Print Layout to uncheck it. Youll now be able to see each page break in your document as a gray line. Click underneath one of the page breaks and press Backspace. Alternatively, click above one of the page breaks and press Delete (or Fn+Backspace on Mac).
One of the easiest options is to manually highlight the whole page and either press the Delete or Backspace key. These buttons remove the content from the page. Once you delete the content, make sure your cursor is at the very top of the blank page.
Click or tap anywhere in the page you want to delete, press Option+⌘+G. In the Enter page number box, type \page. Press Enter on your keyboard, and then select Close. Verify that a page of content is selected, and then press Delete on your keyboard.
At the bottom of the Controls task pane, click Add or Remove Custom Controls. In the Add or Remove Custom Controls dialog box, select the template part that you want to remove, and then click Remove. When prompted to remove the template part, click Yes, and then click OK.
To begin, click the Template Editor button in the Tools ribbon tab. This displays the Edit report template window. Click the downward arrow for the Template menu to select the template that youd like to delete. Then, click the Delete button to the right.
Click or tap anywhere in the page you want to delete, press Option+⌘+G. In the Enter page number box, type \page. Press Enter on your keyboard, and then select Close. Verify that a page of content is selected, and then press Delete on your keyboard.
