all right the objective of this tutorial is to make these track changes disappear permanently the obvious way that you would like to do is disable the track changes itamp;#39;s already disabled here and change the markup option to either no markup or original doesnamp;#39;t matter you save your file close it letamp;#39;s reopen the file and these ugly markings are still there that is because word automatically changes the option to all mockup I have no idea why this is so made so complex but we do have a solution for this changing to original or markup has no impact it just it is just temporary but simple markup when you select simple markup you save it close the file and when you reopen that it stays with simple markup but not with your no markup and original so make sure you follow this go to file click on options then select press enter trust Center settings privacy options and uncheck this option which says make it and marker visible when opening or saving this ensures that no m

Click the Review tab located in the Ribbon and the Track Changes down arrow Track Changes to turn it on or off, and thats how you remove all track changes in word.
Tap Accept All to accept all changes in the document. Tap Accept All Stop Tracking to accept all changes in the document and turn off Track Changes.
Revise the document, and save it by going to File and clicking on Save. Print out a copy of the revised document showing the tracked changes. Hide the tracked changes by going to View and clicking on Markup. Print a clean copy of the document.
So, heres how to stop tracking changes in Word: Open your Word document. Locate the Review menu at the top of it. On the right side of the Review menu, youll see an option to accept or reject changes. Go through each change and manually accept or reject it. Choose to accept all changes and stop tracking.
If you accidentally deleted your text by pressing the wrong key, immediately press Control+Z (Windows) or Command+Z (Macintosh) to restore the deleted text, then try again. Word will insert a comment marker immediately after the text that you selected, then will open the comments pane below your text.
Save and Save As These options work in similar ways, with a few important differences. Save: When you create or edit a document, youll use the Save command to save your changes. Youll use this command most of the time. When you save a file, youll only need to choose a file name and location the first time.
Click the arrow next to the Accept Change icon (a file icon with a blue checkmark), scroll down and select Accept All Change in Document. Save the document.
Click the Review tab on the Ribbon. Click the down arrow on Track Changes Track Changes to turn it on or off. Track Changes: On or Track Changes: Off will display on the status bar (bottom bar in the document.) If this is not showing, right-click the status bar, and check Track Changes.
