If you dont have your art selected, youll notice that the menu is greyed out. You cant use the menu until you bring in some artwork.

How to use Image Trace in docHub Illustrator With the image open in docHub Illustrator, select Window Image Trace. With the image selected, check the Preview box. Select the Mode drop down menu, and choose the mode that best suits your design. Next, adjust the Colors, Grays, or Threshold slider.
Adjust settings in the Image Trace panel If its not there, click Window Image Trace. The presets should be set to Default. Over time you can save custom presets, but for now, we will just use the Default selection. Under view, Tracing Result should be selected.
