Go to a specific line (opens a dialog). Use Ctrl + L in the Source (Legacy) editor. Toggle commenting for selected lines. (Comment/uncomment selected text.)
Actually, you can follow the following two steps to remove the annoying \textcolor{red}{} code in latex file: 1. Select all texts in the lyx file and right click the mouse, choose Text Style--Customized--Color--Reset, then apply (This actually reset the font color to default). 2. Export the lyx file to latex file.
How do I get to the next search match result, or perform a search and replace? If you first click in the source code panel and then Ctrl-F (or Cmd-F if on a Mac), that should bring up a search-and-replace dialog box.
LaTeX will automatically indent the first line of each paragraph that doesnt immediately follow a section heading. If youd like to get rid of an indent, you can use the \noindent command: \section{Introduction} This is the first paragraph. \noindent This is the second paragraph.
Two new commands are also used in the example: \textcolor{red}{easily} : Changes the color of inline text. This command takes two parameters, the color to use and the text whose color is changed. In the example the word easily is printed in red .
Underline, bold and italize text In LaTeX, we can print bold, italicized, and underlined text using the commands \textbf, \textit, and \underline, respectively.
If you want to go back to normal font style (default for the LaTeX class you are using), this can be done by using the \textnormal{} command or the \normalfont switch command.
