Click Reports. Select the report to be edited and then click Properties . If it is necessary to add or remove fields from the report, select the Fields tab: Note: See 2. Click OK to close the Report Properties box and return to the Reports box. In the Reports box, make sure the report is highlighted and click Report All.
Right click on the table, choose Rename: Type in the new table name: Click OK when done.
RPT File Format The Crystal Report allows its report developers to pull data in, to create a report document where the data is formatted into a design of their choosing, such as an invoice, marketing letter, operational or sales report or some sort of analytic.
How to change the name of a Crystal Report Go to File, Summary Info. On the Summary tab, type in the new name of the report in the Title: section. Click on OK. Save the report.
On the Design tab, in the Header/Footer group, click Title. A new label is added to the form or report header, and the form or report name is displayed as the title. When the label is created, the text in the label is automatically selected so that you can change the text by typing the title you want.
In the Current Data Source section scroll down to find Subreports. If Subreports exist then select the line containing the file path and name of the MDB file. Click the Update button. Click Close.
How to edit . RPT files and create new ones. Press the Windows and S keys together. Type Notepad and press Enter. Paste any text into the white area.
Resolution Open the report in Crystal Reports. Under the menu Database, select Database Expert In the Database Expert window, under Selected Tables, click on the Command to select it. On the keyboard, hit the key F2 Enter the desired name for the Command, and click OK to accept the change.
