The lower the grit number, the more abrasive the sand will be. So for sanding super heavy wall texture, I would recommend using a 60 or 80 grit, and finishing off with a 120 gritt for a softer hand. + A Dust Mask or Respirator You can find these at any supply store (I bought these) for pretty cheap.
Glycolic acid and lactic acid are two types of acids that are often used in skincare products. They help exfoliate the top layer of skin, revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath. If your goal is to get rid of textured skin, look for products that contain these acids and use them regularly.
The process of smoothing textured walls with skim coating is fairly common. It refers to spreading a layer of joint compound over the walls to fill in the bumps and valleys in the texture, effectively creating a smooth surface.
The easiest way to remove texture from walls is the soak-and-scrape method. Youll need to spray a section of the wall with water and let the water soak in and soften the texture. Then you need to scrape the texture off using a drywall taping knife.
The Soak and Scrape Method Prepare the Room. Remove all the furniture, and cover the floor with a canvas drop cloth. Spray the Wall. Fill the spray bottle or a pump sprayer with water, and generously spray the textured wall, one section at a time. Scrape the Texture. Sand the Wall. Final Touches.
