for those of you in a hurry with a linked text frame selected double-click on split story within the scripts panel for those of you not in a hurry letamp;#39;s explain this properly i have here a text box letamp;#39;s select it and resize it iamp;#39;ll now click on its out port and drag out a new text box resizing this proves they are connected now letamp;#39;s say i like this layout but i want to separate these text boxes well clicking on the outport and then clicking within the text box indeed breaks the link however all of the text jumps back into the first text box and it ruins the layout so letamp;#39;s undo a few steps and make sure at least one of our linked text boxes is selected window utilities scripts letamp;#39;s open up application samples javascript and double click on split story the connection is now severed yet the text remains unchanged quick bonus tip if you ever need to reconnect the boxes just click on the out port and click on the other text box i hope that
