now let us see character spacing which means space between letters you can keep it either very tight tight normal loose and very loose if you want to remove any formatting like if you do not want it bold then you can click on bold which is highlighted to show that it is active once you click bold effect will be removed and will no longer be highlighted to remove all the formatting at once you can click on clear all formatting button which would reset to the default text effect now lets say while walking on the presentation you by mistake click or remove all the formatting so to get it back you can use an undo option which helps you to go one step back into your presentation it is available on quick access toolbar or you can use keyboard shortcut ctrl + Z so we will click on undo there is also redo which takes you step forward from the undone action keyboard shortcut for redo is ctrl + y
