Choose Layer Arrange, and then choose Bring To Front, Bring Forward, Send Backward, or Send To Back.
Just choose EditUndo or press ⌘-Z (Ctrl+Z). This command lets you undo the very last edit you made.
If you make a single mistake, like an accidental brush stroke, in Photoshop then all that that you have to do is to use the Edit Undo command to take your mistake away. The keyboard shortcut for Edit Undo is Command + Z on a Mac or Control + Z on a PC.
To undo or redo the most recent change, choose Edit Undo. (You can sequentially undo a series of recent changes.) To undo a change, and all successive changes that occurred since you last opened a project, delete it from the History panel.
Press Shift+Ctrl+Z on Windows or Shift+Command+Z on Mac.
To undo or redo an operation, Choose Edit Undo or choose Edit Redo. To cancel an operation, hold down the Esc key until the operation in progress has stopped.
Invert a selection In a photo with an existing selection border, choose Select Inverse. Note: You can use this command to easily select an object that appears against a solid-colored area. Select the solid color using the Magic Wand tool, and then choose Select Inverse.
When things go wrong, sometimes the best option is to simply revert the file by selecting Revert from the File menu, or by pressing f12. This will undo any changes that youve made, and bring back your file to the way it was when you first opened it (or the last time it was saved).
To recover files from this method, launch photoshop and go to Files. From there select the Open Recent option, here you will see all the recent files youve worked on. Select the file you want to restore and open it and thats it, your unsaved file is now back. Save this file on your device for using it in the future.
The History Panel is a tool which creates a chronological top-down view of everything you do in your working session in Photoshop. To access the History Panel, choose Window History, or click the History Panel tab if its already activated in your workspace (highlighted in the Featured image above).
