Use Ctrl+Z for undo and Ctrl+Y for redo. Limitations: After saving and closing the document, some actions may be irreversible. Not all actions in Word can be undone. Customize: Adjust the number of times you can undo through File Options Advanced Editing Options Maximum number of undos.
The Quick Access Toolbar is located next to the Microsoft Office button. It is a customizable toolbar that comes with a set of independent commands. It gives you quick access to commonly used commands like save, undo, redo etc.
To undo an action press Ctrl+Z on your keyboard, or select Undo on the Quick Access Toolbar. You can press Undo (or Ctrl+Z) repeatedly if you want to undo multiple steps. Note: For more information about the Quick Access Toolbar, see Customize the Quick Access Toolbar.
