Wash the stained item with cold water and normally used soap or detergent. You can also soak the entire garment in a bowl of hydrogen peroxide. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the stained clothing from the hydrogen peroxide and rinse it out in cold water.
For dried stains, pretreat or soak in warm water with a product containing enzymes, then launder. These types of laundry products are often recommended for protein-based stains, such as blood. Check the labels for this ingredient, as most enzyme products will promote their ability to remove these stains.
Try this method: mix hydrogen peroxide and flour to create a paste. Apply this paste to the stain and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit overnight, and then wash off the next morning. You might need to repeat this process a few times to completely remove the stain.
If you find a stain on an item that has been through a hot dryer, it doesnt have to be permanent. By using the right laundry products and the right technique, stains that have been dried do come out.
Rinse stain in cold water. Spray OxiClean Max Force Spray directly onto the set-in stain until the area is fully saturated. Let stand for 5 minutes or up to a week, depending on the severity of the stain. For set-in stains, allow the spray to penetrate overnight or up to a week.
Solution 2: How to remove set in stains with white vinegar! Begin your treatment process by saturating the stained area of your garment with white vinegar. After fully saturating the area, create a paste from white vinegar and baking soda, and vigorously rub the stained area.
A settled stain is much more of a hassle to get rid of than one just left for a few seconds. To avoid this, keep these guidelines in mind: Treat the stain immediately with room temperature water. You can also use proper solvent if you have any of those available, but water is always better than doing nothing at all.
