show you a little section before we start this whole thing so what Iamp;#39;ll do is Iamp;#39;ll put a thin coat over the whole house or wall that Iamp;#39;m working on and then I will go back with a heav heavier coat the thin coat um will become tacky with the stain and I would normally wait just a few minutes but basically the heavy coat that weamp;#39;re looking for is oh okay wanted to get a little closeup uh to it you can see the chemical how and thatamp;#39;s stain that Iamp;#39;m pulling off right now but it just comes off very very easily and the key to this chemical is time uh a lot of times we like to put it on overnight which we did on this house and come back the next day and itamp;#39;s ready but it is it it truly makes pressure washing a very very easy task uh pulling it [Applause] off right now we are sanding uh the little bit of fuzz that is on the house we got a couple up high and a couple down low or four down low

Bleach and Water Another way to brighten up and clean up logs or deck prior to finishing is to use a mixture of half house hold bleach and half water. Application: This can be sprayed on with a hand held pump sprayer and worked in with a brush on tough spots.
Sand out the stain To sand wood previously stained you must start by using medium-grit sandpaper followed by a progression of increasingly finer sandpaper grits. This should remove most of the color left by an old stain. If youre applying a new stain, it should mask any residual color.
Remove wood stain with bleach This should remove most dye-based stains but will not lighten the wood itself. If you are undertaking a refinishing project then Chlorine bleach will also remove old dye but lightly scuff-sand it first. Bleach will not go through a finish.
Start by stripping off what you can (as described above), then seal the wood with a water-thin mix of de-waxed shellac and alcohol. Saturate the wood with the solution and wipe it off. Let it dry for 2 hours. Then switch to a 100 percent pigmented stain, such as Varathane (most stains are a mix of dye and pigment).
To remove wood stain, use a chemical wood stripper or sand the surface thoroughly. Apply the stripper with a brush, let it sit, and scrape off the softened stain. Sand any remaining residue. Always wear protective gear and work in a well-ventilated area.
The two main ways of removing existing stain from the logs or wood from the exterior of a structure is to either sanding/grinding or blasting with a fine media, no coarser that 50/100 grit.
Make a stain remover by adding enough water to baking soda to create a thick paste. Rub the stain gently with the paste using a soft cloth. Use a damp cloth to wipe up the residue and give the wood a quick buff. Apply petroleum jelly to the watermark and let it sit overnight.
