hi this is chip wood Ill show you how to eliminate formatting in pages and Word documents so that you can more easily edit the text I have two scripts to record today but its going to be difficult to edit the text because of all of the columns rows and cells lets use this script as an example command a to select all and command C which will copy it will collapse this open text edit select new document and paste the text then well go to format and select make plain text or command shift T select okay you may see a pop-up that says duplicate or overwrite and just select overwrite select all command a copy command C and collapse this document select delete open a new document in pages or word and paste command V and here is your document free of formatting if you find these tutorials helpful please subscribe thanks for watching
