To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them you cant skip actions.
From the menu bar in Photoshop, choose Edit Preferences File Handling. In the File Compatibility section, click Camera Raw Preferences. In the Camera Raw Preferences dialog, select Use Legacy Undo Shortcuts and click OK. Restart Photoshop.
Just click on the last step in the history you want to keep and continue editing from there. All previously following steps will then be replaced by your new action. Or use Ctrl+Z to go back in the history stack, Shift+Ctrl+Z to go forward.
If you need to go back more than one step, use the Step Backward command instead: Choose EditStep Backward or press Option-⌘-Z (Alt+Ctrl+Z). Straight from the factory, this command lets you undo the last 50 things you did, one at a time.
You can use the regular ol Undo keyboard shortcut of Command-Z (PC: Ctrl-Z) to undo just your last change, but Camera Raw lets you undo any change youve made because it keeps track of all the changes youve made to your image in the background.
Keyboard shortcut Undo. Uress Ctrl+Z on Windows or Command+Z on Mac. Redo. Press Shift+Ctrl+Z on Windows or Shift+Command+Z on Mac.
While Camera Raw is open, if a photo is marked for deletion, there are a few ways to un-mark it for deletion With the photo selected in the filmstrip, click the delete (or backspace) button on your keyboard again. Cmd/Ctrl + Z to undo.
Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Z in Photoshop is doing the command of your last action made and prior to that. Pressing repeatedly this will get back to the history of your command or last action from the latest command going back to the previous command made and so on and so forth.
