very often when working with spreadsheets youamp;#39;re going to find yourself making mistakes fortunately with spreadsheets you always have the option to undo or redo the changes that you just made now I have here data for income expenses and profit for the year all of the income and expenses data was entered manually the remaining of the data is just formulas and functions so letamp;#39;s say I just realized that the data entered here is wrong I took it from the wrong data set and I want to delete it I donamp;#39;t want to delete my formulas because the formulas still are going to work I just need to delete the numbers so I selected them all I deleted and then I started to type in my new data set halfway through I realize oh oh no the data set that I had before was actually right so I want to revert back to what I had before now thereamp;#39;s a couple of ways of doing that the first is the first and simplest is to take a cursor up left to undo and click on it each time you click

To undo an action press Ctrl+Z on your keyboard, or select Undo on the Quick Access Toolbar.
Open Excel and go to File Info Manage Workbook. Click Recover Unsaved Workbooks and see if your new work was automatically stored there.
Re: Can I recover a spreadsheet I accidently deleted? Go to the File tab in Excel. Click on Open. In the Recent section on the left side, you should see a list of recently accessed files. Look for your deleted file in this list. If the deleted sheet appears in the recent files, click on it to open and recover it.
There are three ways to access the Undo command. Pressing the Undo button in the Ribbon: Using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Z ( Command+Z for Mac) Using the Edit menu from the menu bar.
Here is what you can try: Go to the File tab in Excel. Click on Open. In the Recent section on the left side, you should see a list of recently accessed files. Look for your deleted file in this list. If the deleted sheet appears in the recent files, click on it to open and recover it.
To restore a deleted sheet, locate the Trash through the Google Drive app or via a web browser. A right-click (or long-press on mobile devices) on the desired file will present an option to Restore, thereby recovering deleted Google Sheets.
If you deleted the entire Google Sheet file, you might be able to recover it from the Google Drive trash. Go to . Click on Trash in the left sidebar. Locate the deleted file and right-click Restore.
If you have a PC, to reopen a browser, hold the shift+control+T keys. This will restore the most recently closed tabs, whether its just one or multiple. However, if you had multiple windows of several tabs open, you will need to do the key function for however many windows you had open.
