As you work, Word automatically starts a new page when you get to the end of each page. If you want to control where one page ends and the next begins, insert a manual page break by putting the cursor where you want to start a new page, and then select Insert, Page Break. To change the settings for how Word treats paragraphs across page breaks, select Layout and then click the arrow in the Paragraph group. In the Paragraph dialog box, select Line and Page Breaks. Under Pagination, choose the option that works best for you. If you need to delete a page break that has been added to a document, youamp;#39;ll need to first show the paragraph marks. Select Home, Show/Hide Paragraph Marks. Paragraph marks are non-printing characters like page breaks, paragraph markers, spacing, or section breaks that can help you format a document. Next, go to the page break you want to remove, double-click it so that itamp;#39;s selected, then press Delete.

Control-Y Control-Y is a common computer command. It is generated by holding Ctrl and pressing the Y key on most computer keyboards. In most Windows applications this keyboard shortcut functions as Redo, reversing a previous Undo. Apple Macintosh systems use ⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + Z for Redo.
With the current version of your document open, select File Revert To Browse All Versions (from the File menu at the top of your screen). The timeline for the document opens. The current version appears in the window on the left. Earlier versions appear in the window on the right.
In the document manager, click Recently Deleted in the left sidebar. Select a document or folder, then click Recover at the bottom of the window (or choose it from the items More menu ). The selected item moves back to its former location in the document manager (under Browse and Recents).
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them you cant skip actions.
Double-click the page break to select it and then press Delete.
Restore a previous version of a file without unwanted changes Open the file you want to restore and go to File Info. If the file has previous versions, youll see a button named Version History. In the Version History pane on the right, select a version to view it.
You can undo recent changes you make to a document, then redo them if you change your mind. Do any of the following: Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
Situation 2: If you havent saved the file: Step 1: Open your Word document. Step 2: Go through File Info Manage Documents. Step 4: Then, select Recover Unsaved Document. Step 5: Open the version you want to restore.
