But there are many different ways and many different situations that you can use Undo to go back one step in whatever it is youamp;#39;re working on. Not all of those use Edit, Undo or Command Z. So first letamp;#39;s look at the most basic situation. Thatamp;#39;s while youamp;#39;re editing text. Pretty much everybody knows how to use Undo for that. So you could go ahead and change something in your text and then go to Edit, Undo Typing and it will undo the change. This also works if you delete something. Recover recently deleted items Select a document or folder, then click Recover at the bottom of the window (or choose it from the items More menu ). The selected item moves back to its former location in the document manager (under Browse and Recents).
Click or Shortcut To undo an action, simply click on the backward arrow icon. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Ctrl + Z (Command + Z on Mac).
You can undo recent changes you make to a document, then redo them if you change your mind. Do any of the following: Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard.
In many applications - including docHub and Microsoft - pressing Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z in MacOS) undoes the last operation/action you performed. Conversely, you can redo the last operation/action performed by pressing Ctrl+Y (Cmd+Y in MacOS).
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
Undo an action on your computer If youre a Windows user, this keyboard shortcut would be Ctrl + Z, and if youre a Mac user, the shortcut is Command + Z.
If you are accessing Pages via the iCloud website in a web browser, you can undo by pressing Ctrl + Z on Windows, or Command + Z on Mac. This will undo any recent changes you have made. If you want to undo further changes, you can press Ctrl + Z or Command + Z multiple times.
Simply press Command and Z at the same time to undo any recent changes. This works in most other Mac applications as well. If you need to undo further changes, you can press Command + Z multiple times.
