To recover an unsaved Final Draft file via Manage Versions, open Final Draft and go to the File menu. Select Manage Versions and look for any autosaved versions of your document. Choose the most recent version and click Restore to recover your unsaved work.
If you want to undo anything youve written or changed in your script go to Edit Undo. This reverses the last editing action made to a script. It performs the same function as Command + Z (Mac) or Ctrl+ Z (Windows) on the keyboard.
Using the keyboard, press Ctrl+Z. You can press Ctrl+Z repeatedly if you want to undo multiple steps.

If you need to change any of the attributes of any of the elements that comprise a script, go to Format Elements (Mac) or Format Element Settings (Windows). Here you will find controls and settings for each element (Scene Heading, Character Name, Dialogue, etc.).
To manually renumber an individual scene Place the cursor in the scene heading to be edited; Choose Production Edit Scene Number; In the Change Scene Number to window, enter the desired number; Click OK.
Go to the Drafts folder. Look for the deleted draft emails there. Sometimes, items that were deleted from the web version might still be present in the local cache. If you find the deleted drafts there, you can simply move them back to your main Drafts folder.
