Use a Mac or Windows PC to find or remove your associated devices Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app. From the menu bar on your Mac, choose Account Account Settings. Click Manage Devices. If you want to remove a device, click Remove.
To pause and temporarily remove iPhone or iPad from the camera list on Mac or Apple TV, tap Disconnect on your device. You can disable using your iPhone or iPad as a webcam for Mac or Apple TV by going to Settings General AirPlay Handoff on your iPhone or iPad device.
Remove your iPhone as an option: On your iPhone, tap Disconnect, then confirm that you would like to disconnect. Your iPhone is removed from the camera and microphone lists in apps, and also from the list of sound input devices in Sound settings. To add your iPhone back, connect it to your Mac with a USB cable.
If youre not planning on using a device, you can remove it from your Devices list. Turn off the device, or put AirPods in their case. In the Find My app on your Mac, click Devices. In the Devices list, select the device you want to remove. Click the Info button on the map, then click Remove This Device.
To prevent your Mac from recognizing your iPhone as a camera or microphone, even when your iPhone is plugged in and mounted, you can turn off Continuity Camera: On your iPhone, go to Settings General AirPlay Handoff. Turn off Continuity Camera.
Tap the Disconnect button on your iPhone screen, or move it out of Bluetooth range of your Mac. The current video and audio session pauses or switches to another camera or microphone, if available, and your iPhone is removed from camera and microphone lists on your Mac.
On your iPhone, tap the Settings app, then tap Bluetooth. Locate your Mac in the list of connected devices and tap the i next to it. Choose Disconnect.
On your Mac, click the Apple menu and then System Settings. Click on your name. Under Devices, locate your iPhone and click on it. Wait for the information to display, then scroll to the bottom of the window, and choose Remove this Device, then confirm.
