Restore an earlier version On your computer, open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. Choose an option: At the top, click File Version history See version history. At the top right, click Last edit . In the right panel, choose an earlier version. At the top, click Restore this version Restore.
In several of the modern text editors (like Atom, Sublime Text, Visual Studio, Code), Ctrl+Shift+P opens up a command pallette, i.e. a command-line interface where you can enter commands for the app to execute.
Clear Formatting Select the text with formatting you want to clear. Click Format on the menu bar. Select Clear formatting.
Use find and replace in a document On your Android phone or tablet, open a document in the Google Docs app. Tap More. Find and replace. Type the word you want to find. Tap Search . To see every time the word is used, in the top right, tap the arrows. Replace a single word: Tap More. To return to the document, tap Done .
Text Formatting To adjust font size, press Ctrl+Shift+. will increase the font size while Ctrl+Shift+, decreases it - making on-the-fly adjustments a breeze. For superscript text, use (Ctrl +.) and for subscript text, use (Ctrl +,).
To undo an action, simply click on the backward arrow icon. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Ctrl + Z (Command + Z on Mac).
Click the Redo button on the toolbar to redo the last action. Press Ctrl + Y.
