Undo changes To The Current Line The U command undoes all changes made to the current line during the latest edit. This can be particularly handy for quickly reverting modifications without affecting the rest of the document.
Delete current line One way to delete a line is to select the whole line and press Delete or Backspace , but a slightly more efficient way is to press Ctrl 0L when the caret is anywhere in that line.
UNDO: Use Ctrl (Windows) or ⌘ (Mac) +Z. REDO: Use Ctrl or ⌘ +Y. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl or ⌘ + Shift + Z. You can also type the UNDO or REDO commands in the command line.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them you cant skip actions.
Undo isnt a feature any shell currently has.
If you make a mistake in vi or if you just change your mind after an operation is completed, you can undo your last command by pressing u immediately after the command. You do not need to press Esc after you type u .

If you want to undo anything youve written or changed in your script go to Edit Undo. This reverses the last editing action made to a script. It performs the same function as Command + Z (Mac) or Ctrl+ Z (Windows) on the keyboard.
