hello everyone how are you doing this is md tech here for another quick tutorial in todayamp;#39;s tutorial iamp;#39;m going to show you guys how to undo or redo an action in microsoft word so letamp;#39;s say weamp;#39;re typing something here and you want to undo that you can either tap control z or the little back arrow up here to undo that so either the control and z keyboard shortcut or tap the little key up here this is undo typing you only see this underneath the home tab selection by the way and that would undo your last action now if you wanted to redo or do an action multiple times you can select either the control y key on your keyboard so you can control y or the little right arrow here or loop there thatamp;#39;s pointing to the right to redo typing so pretty straightforward process here guys do a possible help you out and i do look forward to catching you all in the next tutorial goodbye

CTRL + Z attempts to undo the most recent action taken in an application. It works in most Windows applications. The way it works is a lot of applications have a type of steps history that records a certain amount of the actions taken by the user. When you press CTRL + Z or UNDO, it steps back by one.
In most applications, you can only use Ctrl Y to redo the last action that you undid using Ctrl Z. If you want to redo multiple actions, you will need to use Ctrl Y multiple times.
To undo an action press Ctrl+Z on your keyboard, or select Undo on the Quick Access Toolbar.
