There is no built-in function or tool available in Excel to reverse the order. A combination of INDEX + ROWS will reverse the order. The Sort option is better and easier to sort from all the available techniques.
Delete an index entry and update the index Select the entire index entry field, including the braces ({}), and then press DELETE.
You can vote as helpful, but you cannot reply or subscribe to this thread. To delete the Index, itself, just select delete it as you would any other body of content.
The INDEX function syntax The rownum argument of the INDEX function retrieves the row number. For example, if you type 5, the rownum will return the 5th-row value in your spreadsheet. To have a reverse lookup formula, replace the MATCH function with the INDEX function rowargument.
One straightforward way to remove an element from a list by index is by using the del keyword. The del keyword allows us to delete an element or a slice from a list. In the above example, the element at index 2 (value 30) is removed from the list using the del keyword. The resulting list is [10, 20, 40, 50].
Using SQL Server Management Studio In Object Explorer, expand the database that contains the table on which you want to delete an index. Expand the Tables folder. Expand the table that contains the index you want to delete. Expand the Indexes folder. Right-click the index you want to delete and select Delete.
How to remove an index. If you want to remove an existing index from a column, select the index at step 5 above and then select Delete to remove it again.
MATCH function This function does the exact opposite of the INDEX function it takes a specified value and returns the location within an array.
