Click the first index entry and select Edit Index Entry, then press and hold CTRL+D until all entries are deleted.

Look through your document and locate the index entry you want to delete. If you want, you can use Find and Replace to locate the desired index entry. Select the entire field, including the field braces, and press Del. The index entry is deleted.

To delete the TOC from a document: 1) Right-click anywhere in the TOC. 2) From the context menu, choose Delete Index. Writer deletes the TOC.
