To undo an action press Ctrl+Z on your keyboard, or select Undo on the Quick Access Toolbar. You can press Undo (or Ctrl+Z) repeatedly if you want to undo multiple steps. Note: For more information about the Quick Access Toolbar, see Customize the Quick Access Toolbar.
Recover an earlier version of a Word file Open the file you were working on. Select File Info. Under Manage Documents, select the file labeled (when I closed without saving). In the bar at the top of the file, select Restore to overwrite any previously saved versions.
Use the Undo feature You can restore the Word document to an earlier version by pressing Ctrl + Z.
On the Review tab, go to Changes. Do one of the following: In the Accept drop-down list, select Accept All Changes. In the Reject drop-down list, select Reject All Changes.
To reverse your last action, press CTRL+Z. You can reverse more than one action. To reverse your last Undo, press CTRL+Y.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z.
Go to Review Track Changes.
Remove Tracked Changes manually or selectively Click the Review tab on the Ribbon. Click the down arrow on Track Changes Track Changes to turn it on or off. Track Changes: On or Track Changes: Off will display on the status bar (bottom bar in the document.)
