In most applications, you can only use Ctrl Y to redo the last action that you undid using Ctrl Z. If you want to redo multiple actions, you will need to use Ctrl Y multiple times.
Control-Y Control-Y is a common computer command. It is generated by holding Ctrl and pressing the Y key on most computer keyboards. In most Windows applications this keyboard shortcut functions as Redo, reversing a previous Undo. Apple Macintosh systems use ⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + Z for Redo.
In the QuickTime Player app on your Mac, open the movie you want to trim, then choose Edit Trim. Drag the yellow handles in the trimming bar. The area outside of the yellow handles is the area to be trimmed. Tip: To make more precise edits, click and hold a handle to see individual frames of the clip.
