In Mail, in the Navigation Pane, click Sent Items. Open the message that you want to recall and replace. On the Message tab, in the Actions group, click Other Actions, and then click Recall This Message. If you think you received an email that was then recalled, you can check it with the Recover Deleted Items feature. Just select the Deleted Items folder and check it for any recalled emails. If you have a Trash folder but not a Deleted Items folder, then your account doesnt support recalled email recovery.
With message recall, a message that you sent is retrieved from the mailboxes of the recipients who havent yet opened it. You can also substitute a replacement message. For example, if you forgot to include an attachment, you can try to retract the message, and then send a replacement message that has the attachment.

Instead of removing the email in question from the recipients inbox, the Outlook recall feature will notify them that youve made an attempt to recover a sent message. In these cases, the recipient will be able to read both the original message, and the fact that youve tried to unsend it.
When you want to unsend an email, look for Undo in the Message Sent box and click it. The email you just sent will open back up and it will be saved to your Drafts folder. Undo Send also works in the Android and iOS Gmail app. Look for the Undo option in the black bar at the bottom of the screen and click it.
