[MUSIC PLAYING] Did you just hit Reply All when you really, really only meant to send that reply to one person? Well, if youre using Gmail, you can docHub out and snag an email after clicking send. The good news is its easy to enable the feature. The bad news is you have to enable the feature before you can actually unsend anything. So heres how to do it. First, log in to your Gmail account as you would normally and access your settings by clicking the gear icon in the upper right of your inbox. Then select Settings from the dropdown menu. Step two, under the General tab, scroll down until you find the option for Undo Send. Check the box directly to the left of Enable Undo Send. Step three, choose the cancellation period, which is basically the amount of allotted time before you can no longer undo send from the resulting dropdown menu. Your options range from 5 to 30 seconds. Step four, scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page, and click the Save Changes button. Step five, to

Once an Email Has Been Sent, You Cant Take It Back (Unless) Its a bitter pill to swallow, but you generally cant unsend an email once its been sent. If it arrives in the recipients inbox, its out of your hands (in most cases).
By this point, Gmail has already delivered the email to your recipient, and you cannot get it back. No, unfortunately, it is not possible to recall an email in Gmail a day after you send it. Once the maximum cancellation period (30 seconds) is over, and theres no way to use the Undo Send feature anymore.
Unfortunately, you cannot unsend a message in Gmail after one hour. You can only recall it within 30 seconds of sending it. You can learn how to prevent sending a message you wish you hadnt!
Try it! Select the Sent Items folder. Select or double-click the message so it opens in another window. Select File Info. Select Message Resend and Recall Recall This Message, and select one of the two options. Select the Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient check box. Select OK.

Can you unsend an email in Gmail after a day? You can only undo a message within 30 seconds of sending it, depending on what your cancellation time frame is set to within your settings.

Gmail doesnt have a 120-minute recall feature like MS Outlook. However, you can unsend your email after you click send, for a limited amount of time. You can set that cancellation period to as much as 30 seconds in your Gmail settings. Just scroll down to Undo Send, and then adjust the time.
