You will need a large syringe and an extension tube for devices close to the skin. 4. Before touching the G tube, wash your hands for 15 seconds or use hand sanitizer. 5. If the extension tube is not already attached to the G-tube, prime it with water or formula and then clamp it. 6. Attach the primed extension tube to the g-tube. 7. Take the plunger out and attach the open syringe to the extension tube. 8. Unclamp the tube and allow any air to escape the tube. 9. You may see fluid come into the syringe, but this is normal. 10. When you no longer see air coming up through the tube, allow any fluid in syringe to drain back into the stomach. 11. Clamp the extension tube and disconnect the syringe. 12. Another way to do recovery is to start Vim and use the :recover command. This is easy when you start Vim to edit a file and you get the ATTENTION: Found a swap file message. In this case the single command :recover will do the work.
Suspend and resume Like most Unix programs Vim can be suspended by pressing CTRL-Z . This stops Vim and takes you back to the shell it was started in. You can then do any other commands until you are bored with them. Then bring back Vim with the fg command.
If weve opened other files earlier and invoked commands which created jump lists, we can go to those files when we navigate backward using the Ctrl-o key.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
To perform a single undo in Vi, follow these steps: Step 1: Ensure youre in command mode by pressing the Esc key if needed. Step 2: Once in command mode, simply press the u key. After you press u, Vi will revert the file back to its previous state, effectively undoing the last change you made.
Vim natively keeps a list of your file history in the v:oldfiles variable which you can see with the :oldfiles command or, even better, with :browse oldfiles .
With the Ctrl-R command, you can easily redo the last change or a series of changes. The undo Ctrl-U command in Vim helps reverse something you want back.
Press u, :u, or :undo to undo the last change (entry). The reason why it is important to be in normal mode is because pressing u in another mode may trigger different results, like turning the selected characters lowercase.
