Ctrl + K + C : Comment out the selected code. Ctrl + K + U : Uncomment the selected code. Ctrl + / : Toggle line comments. Ctrl + K + F : Format the current file.
Put your cursor on the first # character, press Ctrl``V (or Ctrl``Q for gVim), and go down until the last commented line and press x , that will delete all the # characters vertically.
If the filtering shortcut (Ctrl + Shift + L) is not working, try selecting the column header first and then applying the filter. It might be related to the active cell or selection.
If you feel like not using a plugin, you can do it in a few lines of code using autocmd like the snippet below. Select several lines in visual mode with V and press Ctrl-Slash or Shift-Ctrl-Slash to comment/uncomment. The idea is simple.
You can use the u key in normal mode to undo changes in Vim. Pressing u will undo the last change you made.
Navigate to the desired line. Right-click and select Source Uncomment from the menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+\.
Any character typed in normal mode will be interpreted as a vim command. Press u, :u, or :undo to undo the last change (entry).
Use shift + v select lines you want and then press ctrl + k , ctrl + c to comment or Ctrl + k , Ctrl + u to uncomment. Heres a new method that extends very generally to other Bash aliases and functions: use this to add a line to . vimrc echo let $BASHENV = ~/.
