Select Undo or press Ctrl + Z.
Most Python commands which affect the underlying state of an object create an undo/redo action which can then be undone or redone through Python or through the Edit Undo and Redo menu items.
For a simple example, when you do a Ctrl + B in some text editor that supports undos, it is remembered as a Bold action. Now with each action is a mapping of its logical reverses. So, when you do a Ctrl + Z , it looks up from a inverse actions table and finds that the undo action is a Ctrl + B again.
You can perform undo and redo by CTRL+Z and CTRL+Y keyboard shortcuts. Document Editor exposes API to do it programmatically. To undo the last editing operation in Document Editor, refer to the following sample code. editor.
To implement Undo , you work backward from the tail of the linked-list, using a current-node pointer or index: where the change was insert , you do a delete but without updating the linked-list; and where it was a delete you insert the data from the data in the linked-list buffer.
On the main menu, choose Edit | Undo. Press Ctrl+Z .
In most Microsoft Windows applications, the keyboard shortcut for the undo command is Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace, and the shortcut for redo is Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z.
The Redo command reverses the most recent change made using Undo. To undo an action, on the Edit menu, click Undo, or press Ctrl + Z. To redo an action, on the Edit menu, click Redo, or press Ctrl +Y.
Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
If UNDO string is encountered, pop the top element from Undo stack and push it to Redo stack. If REDO string is encountered, pop the top element of Redo stack and push it into the Undo stack. If READ string is encountered, print all the elements of the Undo stack in reverse order.
