For a basic table, click Insert Table and move the cursor over the grid until you highlight the number of columns and rows you want. For a larger table, or to customize a table, select Insert Table Insert Table. Tips: If you already have text separated by tabs, you can quickly convert it to a table.
On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Chart. In the Insert Chart dialog box, on the All Charts tab, click Box Whisker.
On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click SmartArt. In the Choose a SmartArt Graphic gallery, click Hierarchy, click an organization chart layout (such as Organization Chart), and then click OK. To enter your text, do one of the following: Click in a box in the SmartArt graphic, and then type your text.
Do any of the following: Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
To create a simple chart from scratch in Word, click Insert Chart, and pick the chart you want. Click Insert Chart. Click the chart type and then double-click the chart you want. In the spreadsheet that appears, replace the default data with your own information. When youve finished, close the spreadsheet.
Click anywhere on the chart to which you want to add chart gridlines. On the Design tab, in the Chart Layouts group, click Add Chart Element, point to Gridlines, and then click the gridline option you want to display. You can rest your mouse pointer over each option to preview the gridline display.
Move to the next or previous page: Press the Page Up or Page Down key. If your keyboard doesnt have these keys, press Fn-Up Arrow or Fn-Down Arrow. Move to a specific page: Press Control-Command-G, type the page number, then press Return or click Go to Page.
Command-Z: Undo the previous command. You can then press Shift-Command-Z to Redo, reversing the undo command. In some apps, you can undo and redo multiple commands.
