thank you for joining this quick troubleshooting video in this video we are going to learn about how to delete expiring or expired self-signed certificates in our org please keep in mind that in order to follow these steps you will need system administrator permissions if you are interested in removing the certificates in your organization but do not have those permissions please contact your system administrator for assistance our organization has a process to notify certain users for certificates that are about to expire to prevent any service disruptions this is a sample email on how we receive notifications from salesforce now letamp;#39;s go to the org and check the expiring certificate from setup navigate to certificates and key management using the quick find bar we can see that i have a self-signed certificate which is already expired however in most of the cases the certificateamp;#39;s expired date would be in the future in order to confirm if you are using this certificate

Restoring the Default SSL Certificate and Private Key Go to Control Panel System Security Certificate Private Key. Click Restore to Default. A confirmation message appears. Click OK.
To clear the SSL state in Firefox, follow these steps: On the History menu, click Clear Recent History. The Clear All History dialog appears. In the Time range to clear list box, select Everything. Select the Active Logins check box. Click Clear Now.

*Tools Options Advanced : Encryption: Certificates - View Certificates ----- Rename the file cert8. db to cert8. db. old in the Firefox Profile Folder to reset all root certificates.
Click the advanced tab. Click on the Encryption Tab. Then click the View Certificates button. Remove the certificate by clicking on it to highlight it, and then click the delete button.
Follow the menu path Tools Options (Windows) or Firefox Preferences (Mac). Navigate to the Privacy Security tab. Scroll down the page to the Certificates section. In the Certificates section, where it says When a server requests your personal certificate, select Select one automatically.
Step by Step Go to the Home screen. Tap Settings Additional Settings Privacy Trusted credentials. Find the System tab and tap on it. Tap the Root CA certificate name you wish to remove. On the Details screen, tap on the Disable button. Tap OK to proceed with the Root CA Certificate deletion.
