Exporting the Root CA Certificate from the Active Directory (AD) Server In the AD server, launch the Certificate Authority application by Start | Run | certsrv. Right click the CA you created and select Properties. On the General tab, click View Certificate button. On the Details tab, select Copy to File.
Use the Remove-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet to remove existing Exchange certificates or pending certificate requests (also known as certificate signing requests or CSRs) from Exchange servers.
Press Windows Key + R Key together, type certmgr. msc, and hit enter. You will get a new window with the list of Certificates installed on your computer. Locate the certificate you want to delete and then click on the Action button then, click on Delete.
In the certificate authority management console (certsrv. msc), the certificate to be revoked is first identified. Then right-click on the database entry and select All Tasks - Revoke Certificate. In the following dialog, the reason for the revocation is specified.
To initiate the revocation process, the holder of the Digital Signature Certificate must submit a revocation request to the respective docHubing Authority (CA). This request should provide valid reasons for revocation, such as compromise, expiration, or voluntary revocation.
The CA removes the certificate from all forms of the CRL when the next base CRL is published. If delta CRLs are not used, the certificate is removed from the following base CRL. A new certificate must be issued if an issued certificate is replaced for any reason with a new updated certificate.
The SSL/TLS certificate revocation process consists of three steps: Customer submits a request to revoke an TLS/SSL certificate. An administrator approves the request. DigiCert revokes the TLS/SSL certificate.
Under Roles Summary, select Active Directory Certificate Services. Under Roles Services, select Remove Role Services. Select to clear the Certification Authority check box, and then select Next. On the Confirm Removal Options page, review the information, and then select Remove.
