so if you were to delete a caption Iamp;#39;ll delete this one here and Iamp;#39;ll delete a table I donamp;#39;t have a lot of room on my mouse pad here okay so delete the whole table then that means that the table at the end which says table - Iamp;#39;m going to click into this text control a right click update field and when you press that letamp;#39;s go see if it updated it and it did it changed it to Table one because now itamp;#39;s the first table I donamp;#39;t find this as always perfect it said that if you move things so if I put figure a look at figure one and figure to are in the wrong spots although I think thatamp;#39;s because I was playing so thereamp;#39;s figure one and you know if we ungroup this and take this caption away just select it so itamp;#39;s solid and Iamp;#39;m going to add a new caption and itamp;#39;s going to be figure and it did get it right that itamp;#39;s figure three and grapes and say okay so it has become figure one two and three

To remove a caption label, follow these steps: Display the References tab of the ribbon. Click the Insert Caption tool, in the Captions group. Using the Label drop-down list, choose the caption label you want to delete. Click on Delete Label. Click on Cancel to dismiss the Caption dialog box.
How to recover an overwritten Word document by undoing the input of data Press the Ctrl key on your keyboard. As you hold in the Ctrl key, press the Z key simultaneously. Notice that the old text appears. Transfer the new text to a blank Word document so that you can maintain both sets of data.
Go to File Info Manage Document Recover Unsaved Documents.
Delete a caption Press CTRL+A to select all of the text in your document and then press F9 to update all. This will ensure that your caption numbers are correct after any caption removal.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z.

Removed closed captions In the Captions pane, select the Remove caption button next to the captions tracks that you want to remove.
