I did a great case today of removing a foreign body from near the index finger this was a very clear type of foreign body and those of you that have taken foreign bodies out know how hard it is to go digging for them because this item was so clear the patient complained of pain when flexing the finger it adapted the color of the surrounding tissue which often foreign bodies do I did not see it on active fluoroscopy and Iamp;#39;ll show you that x-ray but I did see it under fluoroscopy once I got the foreign body out and held it up under the fluoroscope I couldnamp;#39;t see it obviously this incision is larger but itamp;#39;s easier to see when you are going after a foreign body then making a tiny little incision and digging around making a larger incision allows me to see all of the anatomy so that we donamp;#39;t hurt it we were successful and getting it out and you can see the quality that the foreign body was so hard I can see why it was causing the patient pain anyway
