in this video we will demonstrate how to auto update the attribute values from parent work item to child work item based on the specific state or condition in the video we will be updating the attribute values on the assigned state of work item you will see that the work item is opened click on the links tab to open the child work items in the child work items see the values of section system subsystems severity and priority attributes click on the parent work item and verify the values of all the attributes as mentioned earlier you will see that all attributes on both work items have the same value now update the values of section system subsystem severity and priority attributes on parent work item and click Save click on the child work item you will see the refresh link click on the Refresh link as you refresh the child work item you will see that all the values from parent work item have copied onto the child work item
