Deleting sources From the profile page of someone in your tree, hover over a source in the Sources column. Click View. At the bottom of the screen, click Remove.
Steps (website) While signed in to FamilySearch.org, in the top-right portion of the screen, click your name. Click Source Box. Click the check box next to each individual source you want to remove. At the top of the list of sources, click Remove. Click Yes.
Steps (mobile app) In the Family Tree mobile app, navigate to the Person page that you want to edit. Tap the Details tab. Under Vitals, tap the information you want to delete. Review the current information and any reason statements. Tap Delete. Explain why you made a change. Tap Delete.
To complete the uninstallation, remove any residuals: Open Finder again, click Go in the menu bar, and then select Go to Folder from the dropdown menu. Enter the Paths and delete each Sourcetree-related item: Right-click on the Trash icon in the dock and select Empty Trash to permanently delete these entities.
Click the Media workspace button from the top of the screen, and find and select the media item you want to delete from your file. Click the Delete button in the upper right corner of the window. Confirm you want to delete this media item by clicking the Yes or OK button. The media has now been deleted from your tree.
In the Family Tree mobile app, you can detach a source. Navigate to the person page. Tap Sources. Tap the source that you want to detach. On the upper right, tap the 3 dots. Tap Detach. Enter a reason to detach. To confirm, click Detach.
